UniKidz International is coming to town!
UniKidz International is a fact! At our location UniKidz Neptunus - which is centrally located on IJburg - we now offer bilingual childcare.
At UniKidz Neptunus children come first. We make sure that children and their parents from all over the world feel like home. At UniKidz Neptunus we offer bilingual childcare for children from 3 to 13 years old (pre-school and after school).

Bilingual childcare
At UniKidz Neptunus we communicate with the children in English and Dutch. This way they can playfully get acquainted with two languages. Bilingual childcare contributes to children's development. They learn cognitive tasks faster, are better at language, math tasks and will be able to learn new languages more easily.
At UniKidz International we work according to the 'one teacher one language' strategy, with one pedagogical staff member speaking only Dutch during the day and one staff member speaking only English during the day. They both speak the language at an officially recognized level.
Activity program
The unique talent development program within UniKidz International is characterized by our range of activities in the four areas of development, our labels (scientifically based):
- FitKidz (sports & exercise)
- SkillsKidz (making & creating)
- SoulKidz (heart & soul)
- MindKidz (development & education).
Kids get judo, boxing- and basketball training, ride horses, mountain bike, make things in the STEAM Makerspace (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics), dance, have theater, circus and cooking classes, do ballet, get swimming lessons, make music and much more. The possibilities for the children are endless!
Every 10 weeks a child can choose a new activity program. All activities within daycare are inclusive. Parents pay nothing extra.
UniKidz International & education
UniKidz Neptunus has a strong partnership with elementary school DKC Neptunus. In this cooperation, we offer the children a warm and safe welcome. Together we take the children into the integrated world of education and childcare where we guide them in our best way.
During schooltime children get extra classes by the labels by UniKidz to further explore themselves. To be able to reach out to their own talents. We provide talent time and offer a Summer school programme.

UniKidz & parents
The team at UniKidz Neptunus is a close partner to children and parents. Within our location there is plenty of room for meeting other parents from all over the world. In the cozy, homey environment you can make social contacts and exchange experiences with other parents while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, and do workshops/courses together.
Together we form a community from parents, childcare and education. We are the Internationals' partner and guide them in all kinds of ways. Together we create an enjoyable and pleasant environment in which both parents and children feel welcome. In addition, we can offer support on all kinds of issues relating to education, living, working and life in the Netherlands.
How we work at UniKidz International, can only be experienced by yourself! Coffee, tea and a snack will be ready during the information meeting on Friday, April 14. Looking forward to see you!
